There was no exact moment when my spiritual path began. I was not struck by lightning like a Shaman, nor did I become enlightened under the Bodhi Tree like the Buddha. My path unfolded naturally over time, through searching for meaning, sharing faith, feeling experiences, overcoming challenges and true connection. What has guided me throughout is a quiet but steady passion for understanding how we heal, grow, and come home to ourselves. In the teachings of Ram Dass, we're all just walking each other home, meaning no one is ahead or behind, remaining humble and with humility.
Much of my journey has been about questioning what I was taught about success, wellbeing, and what it really means to live a good life. Along the way, I have had to let go of identities, relationships, and ways of being, that no longer align. On reflection, each person and experience has played it's part, often in ways that only became clear later on.
For much of my life I felt like a visitor here, observing the world from the edges, knowing we are truly here from the Stars. Over time, I came to see this not as a weakness, but as a gift. A challenging early life led me into a search for meaning, which slowly grew into a conscious path of healing, learning, and service.
My first step into holistic health came through studying Naturopathy. I wanted to understand how the body and spirit respond when given the right conditions to heal. After falling ill with a bleed on the brain, western medicine path failed me. I started seeking more how to help myself. Once I began listening more closely to my body and my intuition, the path continued to unfold. Next, Yoga became a foundation for me, a safe place, a place of sanctuary, offering a way to inhabit my body with more presence and awareness. My practices from Ashtanga to Somatic led me here, to find balance, to understand both Yin and Yang are required.
As my awareness deepened, I became more conscious of how much unprocessed emotion I was carrying. Energy work supported me greatly in this work, helping with emotional release, heart opening, and nervous system regulation. I took my time before offering these practices to others, spending years focused on my own healing, then studying in the traditional Usui Reiki lineage. This personal experience shapes how I work with people today. My journey later expanded into shamanic earth energy work, training with the Q’ero Shamanic lineage, and I am now a Mesa carrier. From this, I have developed integrated energy sessions from these teachings while remaining grounded, intuitive, and responsive to each individual.
Religion is always a question that gets asked in the healing industry. Although growing up Christian, sort of, my later interests moved into Buddhism, it aligned so much more with me and I became interested in meditation. Over the years after meeting many beautiful people on my journey; Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, I have come to realise it is all one, it is all Consciousness. There is no one god, only faith, only source. I respect all beliefs and views, but my heart and soul is with Consciousness.
My greatest teacher on my path was my relationship with Ceremonial Cacao, this felt natural, it still does. I have a deep Mayan connection to this Plant Medicine. This is something I approach with deep respect and gratitude. While it has become more visible in modern wellness spaces, my work remains rooted in heart centred practices that honour it's origins, and honouring ethical sourcing of this medicine. Many Shamans have told me Cacao is needed in the West, her softness, her willingness, her love.
I also understand the reality of modern life. I spent many years working in corporate environment as a general manager of a hotel and an event manager, learning how to function within pressure and responsibility. This experience allows me to support people who are balancing everyday demands while feeling called towards something more meaningful and nourishing.
Although I was born in Wales (with some Scottish Heritage), I have lived in the Isle of Guernsey, Gozo Malta and now based in Glastonbury. I am happiest when travelling, my favourite places have been Mexico, Portugal and Bali. Travel has been huge for me, experiencing cultures and sacred lands across five continents has also shaped my understanding, deepened my trust, intuition and inner compass. It reminded me that, when we listen, life responds, and that we are here to experience this world just how we are. If you seek, you shall find.
Over the years, my connection to nature, the moon, and astrology has grown stronger. These tools offer perspective, helping us see ourselves as part of a wider picture rather than feeling lost or behind. I created my moon blog Chandra Diaries and adore the night sky.
My purpose is to serve, this path is not about becoming someone else, it is about remembering, learning through lived truth, grounding on this earth, connected to the cosmos, and supporting within humanity.
