Yoga is an ancient practice of returning to the body, the breath and the present moment. These sessions are a space to slow down, reconnect with your body and come back to yourself. Yoga here is not approached as an exercise class, but as a practice of awareness, balance and presence in our human bodies.

Current Glastonbury Yoga Classes:
Monday evenings 6pm - Avalon Centre (£10)
Thursday mornings 7.15am - Avalon Centre (Donation only)
Friday afternoons 1.15pm - St Dunstan’s House (Donation only)
1-1 Somatic Yoga with Cacao coming soon - Contact me to be on the waiting list.
What to Expect
We begin by arriving in the body through grounding and breath work. From there we move through gentle yoga asana, allowing the breath to guide the movement rather than pushing the body. The practice often closes with stillness or meditation, giving time for the body and mind to settle. The intention is simple — to create a supportive space where you can listen to your body, calm the nervous system and find a sense of balance within yourself.
Who it is for?
These sessions are open to beginners as well as those with experience. You do not need to be flexible or “good at yoga”. The practice is about awareness rather than performance, and everyone is encouraged to move at their own pace. All are welcome, ages, genders, all walks of life. Yoga is union.
Benefits
Many people find that yoga supports both physical and emotional wellbeing. It can help release tension, improve mobility, regulate the nervous system and bring a greater sense of calm and clarity to daily life.
Lineage
My yoga practice has been shaped by teachers from North America. One of my teachers from New York trained deeply in the traditions of Ashtanga Yoga and Bhakti Yoga, bringing together disciplined physical practice with heart centred devotion. I have also studied with a teacher specialising in Integrative Somatic Yoga, which works with body awareness and the relationship between movement, emotion and the nervous system.
Francesca is a fully qualified and insured teacher.
I look forward to seeing you on the mat.
